Walker ES Students Learn To Say No To Bullying

On February 5th, Walker Elementary School students learned about the problems students face when bullying occurs.  Not only is the child who is being bullied affected, but also those around who witness it. It takes valuable time away from learning and makes the school environment a place he/she does not want to be.

Pictured above are Walker Elementary School fourth graders with their Physical Education teacher Tro Henry, Physical Education assistants Debbie Holland and Cory McSween, and Walker’s Guidance Counselor Alicia Humphrey, who presented the interactive lessons to each grade level.

Students received booklets donated by Gordon Martial Arts as well as pencils and No Bullying toe tokens.
