Tom Thumb Food Stores Donates to the Big Red Machine

Crestview High School’s marching band, the Big Red Machine, has been active in the community for 75+ years.  Over the program’s storied history, thousands of students have entertained crowds at games and other events including national parades.  When Tom Thumb Food Stores, headquartered in Crestview, FL, learned that the Big Red Machine was engaged in a fundraising initiative for new uniforms, they felt it was a worthy investment.

“We believe our stores are an extension of the communities we serve, and the leadership team at Tom Thumb views this donation as the perfect opportunity to support the local community that has given us so much over the last 60+ years,” said Mark Salisbury, President, Tom Thumb Food Stores.  “We hope our donation will enable the band to entertain the community and nation for years to come and we are proud to play a small part in the continuing legacy of the Big Red Machine.”

Crestview High School, the students, parents and directors of the Big Red Machine and the citizens of Crestview thank Tom Thumb for this amazing contribution.

“This generous donation will allow the band to get significantly closer to the amount needed to purchase their new uniforms,” said Jody Dunn, Director, Crestview High School Band.
