School Board Approves New Administrator 7.25.16

At the July 25th School Board meeting Kimberly Nihill-Taylor was named the Assistant Principal at Niceville High School.

Kimberly Nihill-Taylor says she “is a proud military brat and Niceville High School alumna.”  In 1991, she began her teaching career at Gulf Breeze High School.  A year later she returned to Okaloosa County and in 1993 Niceville High School called her home where she taught all levels of Art, AP Art History, and was the elective department chair.  In addition to teaching, she coached volleyball and was the Head Softball Coach for 7 years.  

Nihill-Taylor was Okaloosa County’s Teacher of the Year in 2002 and has been Nationally Board certified since 2006.  In the spring of 2016, she became Dean of Students at Niceville High School. She has been married to Rod Taylor for 22 years and they have two children, Logan and London.
