NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING LOCATION CHANGE

THE SCHOOL BOARD OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA has changed the location for its standing monthly workshops and meetings beginning with the workshop meeting on April 6, 2017 until further notice. The Board will conduct regular meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. The regular meetings of each month will be conducted at 6:00 P.M., at the School Board’s Central Administrative Complex, 202 Hwy. 85 North, Niceville, Florida in the Training Room. The Board will conduct a Workshop at 9:00 a.m. on the Thursday preceding the second Monday and fourth Monday of each month at the School Board’s Central Administrative Complex, 202 Hwy. 85 North, Niceville, Florida in the Training Room. The Workshops and Meetings of the Okaloosa County School Board are open to the press and public.

Any interested party who decides to appeal any decision made by the Okaloosa County School Board with respect to any matter considered during these meetings, will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This notice does not constitute consent by the School Board for the introduction or admission of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disability Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in these meetings is asked to advise the School Board at least 48 hours before the Meeting by contacting the Superintendent of Schools at (850) 833-3110.
