Lewis School SRO getting head shaved at pep rally

Lewis School Shaves Heads to Fund New Computers

Lewis School held a Booster-thon Fundraiser in early September which included a Fun Run and a Color Run to help raise money for new student computers.  The students were asked to get pledges for the laps they ran, and were told if they brought in at least $15,000 some of our administrators and teachers would shave their heads at the next pep rally.

The students surpassed that goal and therefore at one of the school’s pep rallies the school’s SRO, administrators, and a few others had their beards and heads shaved.

“We are very proud of our students for meeting this challenge and proud of our staff for their hard work on this event and going the extra mile to motivate the kids,” said Liz Berry, one of Lewis School’s Physical Education teachers.
