Help Cram the Van with School Supplies

The United Way’s annual Cram the Van School Supply Drive is in full swing this year and there is still time to help!  Look for the vans in the parking lots (see below) at participating Wal-Mart and Publix stores.  Help provide much needed school supplies to local children for the upcoming school year.

On Saturday, July 27th, in front of the Publix in Fort Walton Beach, Elliott Point Elementary School faculty members encouraged shoppers to donate school supplies to benefit the students enrolled in their school for the 2013-14 school year.  The Cram the Van participants were: Janet Norris, Principal, Kim Day, Mary Beth Mayes, Kyma Scadlock, Jennifer Johnson, Kathy Ard and her children, Belinda Blalock, Mandy Dwyer, Coach Cindy Bandfield, and Janette Webb.

“I want to thank the community for their donations,” said Norris.
