Emerald Coast Marching Classic

Marching Band enthusiasts can enjoy the 2013 Emerald Coast Marching Classic sponsored by the Choctawhatchee High School Style Marchers on Saturday, October 19, 2013.  Nine high schools from Northwest Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee will compete for the title of Grand Champion of the Emerald Coast.

Each band marches to intricate choreographic steps with specially arranged musical selections.  Auxiliary performances will include performances from the flag, baton, rifle, and dance squads.

Returning for the third year is Father Ryan High School from Nashville, Tennessee.  In past years, this band has wowed the audience.  They are scheduled to perform at 8:30pm.

The show will take place at Etheridge Stadium on Racetrack Road in Fort Walton Beach.  Gates open at 3:00pm, with performances beginning at 4:00pm.
