Edge ES Participates in Read Across America Day

Oh, the Places You'll Go when you read!  Students across Okaloosa County will join millions of their peers today, Monday, March 2, 2015, to celebrate the sixteenth annual National Education Association's (NEA) Read Across America Day.

NEA's Read Across America Day, which celebrates Dr. Seuss's birthday and the joys of reading, expects more than 45 million readers, both young and old, to pick up a book and read.  The goal of Read Across America Day is to show America's children the joy of reading and build a nation of readers.

To honor Dr. Seuss and celebrate the fun and value of reading, many students are dressing up and reading their favorite Dr. Seuss books in class.
