Destin Middle School Critical Thinking Class Gives Back to the Community

Angela Barry’s Critical Thinking class at Destin Middle School held their third and final fundraiser of the year, generating over $750.  The money raised was donated to three area animal organizations:  PAWS, Eglin Pet Welfare, and Alaqua Animal Refuge.  

“This class of 20 students raised over $1750 this year for area nonprofits,” said Barry.

Denise Song, Community Development Director of PAWS, thanked Barry and the class for their generous donation to benefit the animals under of the care of PAWS.  “We work every day to care for the homeless, abandoned, abused and ill animals of our community, unless we can find them a furever home,” said Song.  “Every Paw at PAWS thanks you for your time, talent and support.”
