Destin ES Becomes Living Wax Museum

Destin Elementary Schools 4th graders became a living Wax Museum on Wednesday May 21st.  The students chose a famous Floridian who had a significant impact on Florida’s history.  They researched the individual, dressed in character, and displayed props relevant to their Famous Floridian.  Parents, teachers and students visited the museum.

“While visiting they learned about a variety of influential people to Florida including naturalists, singers, actors, athletes, poets, authors, Native Americans, explorers, architects, and military figures.  Fourth grade students had a blast bringing the past to the present!” said Janet Stein, Destin Elementary School Principal.
