Choctawhatchee HS Collects Needed Supplies for Louisiana Relief Effort

Choctawhatchee High School students collected a van load of needed supplies to help the families affected by the floods in Louisiana.

A parent from Meigs Middle School makes the trip to Louisiana to assist those in need every weekend.  She provided Choctaw with a list of items that they needed the most and the students took it from there.

“We were excited about helping out,” said Becky Perez, Choctaw’s Leadership Program Coordinator.  “The Leadership classes, Link Crew, and some of the clubs at school started donating two weeks ago and were very successful in collecting several items.  Ms. Albright picked up the items Friday to deliver to Louisiana.  We are so proud of our kids for collecting donations for the Louisiana Families.”
