Choctawhatchee HS Link Crew and Leadership Students Participate in Mock Interviews

The Choctawhatchee High School Link Crew and Leadership classes have been participating in Mock Interviews the lasts few weeks.  “Several professionals from the community graciously volunteered their time to interview 140 students over the past two weeks,” said program chair, Becky Brewer.  “The volunteers were given a list of sample questions to ask the students or they could feel free to ask them anything they would like.”

Using a rubric, the interviewers were asked to grade the students based on their resume, appearance and poise, skill presentation, delivery, and language.  They also were encouraged to give any feedback to the students that would help them for future interviews.

Before the interviews the students were coached on proper attire, handshakes, and delivery.

“This is our 3rd year of the Mock Interviews and the students feel it is a valuable experience for them before they get out in the ‘real’ world,” said Brewer.

Thank you to the following community volunteers for their willingness to serve as interviewers:
