Cassidy Bassett, Bruner MS, Wins iPad Mini from Algebra Nation

To encourage students to study and prepare for the FSA Algebra 1 EOC, AlgebraNation held a competition (The AlgebraNation Challenge) for all Florida students enrolled in an Algebra 1 course.  From April 6th through April 17th students that scored an 80 percent or greater on the “Test Your Self” section received one entry into an AlgebraNation drawing.  There are 12 different section and students received 1 entry for every section they scored an 80% or higher.

AlgebraNation gave away fifty $75 pizza parties and 10 iPad minis to Florida students that competed in the AlgebraNation Challenge.

All of Dr. Duane Eliason’s Algebra 1 Honors students participated in the AlgebraNation Challenge.  Cassidy Bassett from Dr. Eliason’s 4th period class was one of 10 algebra students statewide to win an iPad min.

AlgebraNation is a web based learning platform created by the University of Florida Lastinger Center.  The Program is an interactive, engaging online resource that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help Algebra 1 students succeed in algebra.
