Bruner MS Participates in March of Dimes Walk

Bruner Middle School's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members and parents participated in the March of Dimes “March for Babies” on Saturday, November 1, 2014.

“This is a community event for the March of Dimes and by participating, we are raising awareness of premature birth and funds for research to find the answers and develop preventions,” said Michelle Cook, Bruner’s Technology Instructor and FBLA Adviser.  “One of the parents that walked with us is Bruner’s Principal Mr. John Spolski.”

The March for Babies gives hope to nearly half a million babies born too soon each year.  The money raised from the walk supports programs in the community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies and it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten babies.
