Bruner MS Holds National Beta Club Induction

On Tuesday, May 29th, Bruner Middle School hosted its annual induction ceremony for their chapter of the National Beta Club.  The National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America.  For more than 80 years, it has prepared today's students to be tomorrow's leaders.  Beta Club’s motto is “Let Us Lead by Serving Others”.  Their mission statement is “to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among today’s youth”.

In order to be eligible for membership, Bruner students must have at least a 3.5 GPA and no disciplinary referrals.  Throughout their membership, students have an opportunity to participate in leadership summits, community service projects, and state convention.

This year, led by sponsors Regina Crumbley, Stacey Leeth, and Amy Brewer, Bruner Middle School proudly inducted 43 new members, and installed 2015-2016 officers Amber Lett (president), Lyndsey LaBorde (vice president), and Madison Carlstrom (secretary).
