Okaloosa County Schools Move Up To 2nd In Florida State Assessments

The Okaloosa County School District had outstanding results from the 2016 Florida State Assessments.

“Progress, not perfection, has been my motto since taking office 3 years ago,” said Superintendent of Schools, Mary Beth Jackson.  “We have improved from 10th to 7th to 4th and now #2 in the State.  I cannot be more proud of our teachers, and all of our employees who support them every day, and their hard work to make this leap.   I want to thank the students for their hard work because top results do not come without effort.  And lastly, I want to thank our parents for the trust they place in us when their children come to our schools, and that they can rest assured we are working hard in the best interest of their child.”
