Masks will be required at Orientation!

Eglin Mask Policy

General Cain has provided his “Eglin AFB Installation Commander Directive” dated 9 July 2021:
All individuals, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask in health care settings, including DoD medical and dental treatment facilities IAW CDC Guidelines. All personnel, including parents and students/children, at Eglin Elementary School and all Child and Youth Programs will continue to wear masks within those facilities.

Registration for the 2021-2022 school year is open!

Any student who was enrolled at Eglin Elementary for the 2020-2021 school year does not need to re-enroll.  Please contact Mrs. Morgan at 850-833-4320 for registration!

New Kindergarten students also need to sign up for a Kindergarten screener time on July 19 or July 20.  You must be registered prior to signing up for a screener time.  These screeners help us create academically balanced classes for the upcoming school year.  Please call Mrs. Morgan to schedule your child's time.
As a reminder, Florida law provides any child who will be five on or before September 1st is eligible for Kindergarten that school year.  To complete the registration process, parents must present proof of:
*Birth Certificate, Original needed for verification

This is a safety concern

Please use the car rider ramp ONLY for dropping off and picking up your students during normal arrive and dismissal times. If you arrive to school after 8:15, you must walk your child to the front office to sign them in.  Cars are not allowed to use the areas behind the school to drop off or pickup as this is a safety concern! We do not have staff in these locations to supervise and to ensure your child is safe. Please help us make this part of our day as safe as possible.

Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.
