The weekly plans contain activities for each day, along with digitally accessible or downloadable resources, designed for delivery by a caregiver or remote teacher. ![]() Khan Academy is a tried and true website that provides video tutorials and guided practice sessions from elementary math to calculus. As an added bonus, students are given immediate feedback on practice problems. |
![]() Kahn Academy has added new content under the ELA beta tab found at the bottom right of the home page. This content is designed for students in grades 2-9 and includes instruction on reading and vocabulary. The lessons include content and practice activities similar to those Florida students would encounter in the classroom and on state examinations. |

![]() Actively Learn is an online curriculum platform that includes content for grades 2-8. The platform gives students an opportunity to read engaging articles independently. Students may sign up for an account at any time. There is a student help center and chat for additional guidance. Once in the program, students make selections from a wide range of nonfiction and fiction which includes classic literature, folktales, and content area readings on science and history. |
![]() Prodigy - This is a game based fluency program that works with all grades levels of middle school math. Students are able to create personalized avatars and compete with students of similar ability levels. |
![]() NoRedInk builds stronger writers through interest-based curriculum and adaptive exercises. Students in grades K-12 identify parts of speech, rearrange sentences, edit and mark up text, and/or organize ideas into outlines. The instruction and practice is differentiated to meet each student’s individual needs. Some ELA teachers may have signed students up for this program prior to the school closure. If so, students would only need to enter their code to get started. Other students may click on the link below the class code box (I don’t have a class code) and sign up for a free student account. |

Book selections are divided into pre-school, elementary, tween, and teen. There are recordings in multiple languages such as English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Italian. |
![]() National Emergency Library is a site that contains a temporary collection of books that supports emergency remote teaching, research activities, independent scholarship, and intellectual stimulation while universities, schools, training centers, and libraries are closed.
