Mrs. Holly Tew
Principal

Holly Tew began her educational career in the Okaloosa County School District 26 years ago. She has taught both math and science at the middle and high school levels. For the last eight years, she has served as an Assistant Principal at Shoal River Middle School, Riverside Elementary, and, primarily, Crestview High School. A native Floridian, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Math and Science Education from the University of West Florida. She also holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas - Arlington. She adores all things STEMM and embraces her inner geek. She firmly believes in the importance of empowering every student with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in life. She is committed to the students, parents, faculty, and staff at Davidson Middle School and is thrilled to become a Panther.

Mr. David Carnley
Assistant Principal

David Carnley started working for the Okaloosa County School District in 1992. He received his bachelor's degree In Physical Education in 1992 and his Master's degree in Educational Leadership in 2002 both from the University of West Florida. David spent 5 years teaching science at Crestview High and then moved to Davidson Middle teaching science, pe, and serving as dean of students. He is married to Lorna and has three children and two grandchildren. He is panther proud and is committed to serving student, parents, and staff at Davidson Middle.

Mrs. Laura King
Assistant Principal

Laura KIng has been serving in the Okaloosa County School District since 2005.  She earned her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She earned her Masters in Educational Leadership and Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of West of Florida.

In 2005, she joined the Okaloosa County School District and has taught third through fifth grade. She begin her administration role at Plew Elementary in 2019.

She is passionate and devoted to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential and is committed to empowering students to achieve success.
