Expectations:

1.     Arrive to class on time

2.     Be respectful of teacher, classmates, & equipment

3.     Have assigned materials with you in class daily

4.     No food or drink near the keyboards/pianos

5.     Have clean hands!

6.     Follow directions about set up & tear down

7.     Put away all materials at the end of class

1.     ear buds (that stay in your binder)

2.     3-ring binder, with 2 pockets

3.     pencil

4.     pencil pouch with 3 rings to fit in your binder

5.     highlighters

9.     a place to keep piano folders

 

Written Assignments/Quizzes/Tests –% - Students will learn music theory each week/9 weeks/semester.  We will have music theory quizzes periodically. 

 

Assessments/Performances –% - Every other Friday, we will have a scales/skills assessment.  We will have individual piano performance grades on the opposite Fridays. 

 

Individual/Group Participation – % - Students will earn a weekly participation grade based on their appropriate participation throughout the week. 

 

 

Students & parents are responsible for any kind of damage, intentional or unintentional, to equipment.
