Hi!  I'm Mary Beth Mills.  I attended Choctaw briefly in 1981 as a senior.  I graduated from the University of West Florida in 1985 with a BS degree in Scientific Systems Science.   I enjoyed being a software design engineer for several military contractors.  I have 4 wonderful kids, and a sweet husband, (and two rotten dogs).  I am teaching Math for College Readiness (MCR), Liberal Arts 1, and Intensive Math.

  • We will NOT be having quarterly exams this year; however, we will have semester exams.
  • Students may use a ti30xa calculator... OR ANY CALCULATOR!!!!

Math for College Readiness~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  • This course is intended for students who simply need some additional instruction in content to prepare them for success in college level mathematics.
  • Please know this is not a replacement for College Algebra...it is a preparation for College Algebra.
  • The math portion of the PERT is the EOC for this math class.

PERT: Several students have already taken the PERT during their junior year of high school.  This is a great assessment tool, identifying academic strengths and weaknesses.
