Transportation Changes:

Parents-Bluewater has created a way to send all transportation changes to the office. Remember to notifiy the teacher of the change. Send your changes to our new email address at
Parents- Due to our growing enrollment, we have 9 tables in our lunchroom. Currently we have a few classes who use the middle table for their actual lunch rotation. This means that our middle/parent table is closed from 10:15-10:45 and again from 11:35-12:05. Any parents wishing to eat lunch with their child during those times will be able to use the picnic tables in the pavilion. It is our priority to feed children and complete our table rotation as efficiently as possible. As a reminder, parents should not bring small children or younger siblings to lunch (or to volunteer). This is a safety concern and a space issue.
We are continuing to work on procedures and behavior in the lunchroom. Our goal is to enjoy our lunch time together. With our new “cone” system we are working on whispering (inside voices), having good table manners and keeping our feet and bodies facing forward. The cones provide a visual cue and accentuate the positive of having great behavior. The students are responding. Thank you for your support in this matter.
Thank you!
Mrs. Klugh

Interested in an Enjoyable and Fulfilling
Volunteering Experience?
The Media Center offers a variety of opportunities for volunteering that fit a variety of interests and a variety of schedules.  If you volunteer in the library, you can help students find books, shelve books, assist with book fairs, and help with many other tasks and projects.
In the volunteer room, volunteers make copies for teachers, use die cuts to cut out letters and figures, laminate classroom materials, etc.
Media Center volunteers set their own schedules.  Some of our volunteers are here for a few hours every day; several volunteer all day once or twice a week; and others come only in the morning or afternoon.  We also have drop-ins who come to the Media Center when they have a few minutes to pitch in.  Whatever your schedule is, we will be delighted to sign you up and put you to work!
Our Books to Badges program allows you to accumulate your volunteer hours to allow your child to become Deputy for the Day with Deputy Self after 20 hours in the library.
The Media Center is an opportunity to assist every child and teacher at Bluewater Elementary School.
Drop by to speak to Mr. Johansen.
