Welcome to Bluewater Elementary!!

Aplus.gifWe have been a proud A+ school for 18 consecutive years. Results like these don't happen overnight. They come with months of preparation and dedication on the parts of our teachers, support staff, and dedicated parents like you!  We pride ourselves on creating a team of professionals to serve our students.  We know that you will find our Bluewater teachers to be the best of the best!

RESPONSE TO COVID-19

Please check out the Okaloosa County Reopening Schools link at the top of the page.

When we are back on campus:

Ways you, as parents, can help with safety:
*Follow the parent handbook--this demonstrates respect and is a model for students.
*Check in at the front office EVERY TIME you are on campus.
*Obtain a VISITORS PASS from the front office with your state issued ID. If you see someone without a yellow visitor pass, direct them to the office.
*Drop students off and pick them up at designated times and places. Students should not be dropped off before breakfast begins.
*Keep your student's afternoon dismissal as consistent as possible. Dismissal confusion begins when a student is unsure of how they are getting home.  A more consistent afternoon dismissal establishes a good routine for a student to follow.
LUNCH VISITS- After Labor Day, lunch time visitation will be on Mondays and Fridays. Not at this time

Thank you for continuing to help us make student safety a top priority.

9/30/2020 We are required to report teachers that are operating Out of Field.  That means that two of our teachers, Mrs. Buckelew and Mrs. Athey, are certified but are working towards their certification in Elementary Education. We also have teachers working towards their ESOL certification: Kristie Barkauskas, Paige Becking, Kelsey Buckelew, Lisa Farley, Jennifer Huffman, Sara Mathis, Emily Springfield, Christen Townsley, Traci Kline, Olivia Athey, and Jasmine Duff. These teachers are all certified for Elementary but required to obtain additional certifications.
