Stuff the Bus: Back to School Supply Drive
Stuff the Bus, originally, Cram the Van, is a campaign that the Okaloosa County School District participates in each year. The event is coordinated by United Way Emerald Coast in association with the Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation and the goal of the drive is to collect school supplies for our students who cannot afford them. Superintendent Chambers appreciates “the community coming together to show our students that their education is important. Providing brand new supplies allows students to begin the year in a position for success.” Supplies collected at this event are available as students need them throughout the year as well as for new students who enroll in our schools after the first day.
Last year supplies were distributed to over 15 schools and helped over 7,000 students as we collected more than 80 boxes of school supplies and over $2300 in monetary and gift card donations! We would love to provide to even more this year! No donation is too small.

Stuff the Bus will take place on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Crestview, Fort Walton Beach, and Niceville Walmart locations from 9am- 1pm. Look for our collection sites in the parking lot and listen for Cumulus Radio broadcasting live!
Collection sites prior to the event include:
July 19-30: Midsouth Bank on Beal Parkway, United Fidelity on Perry Avenue, The Joint Chiropractic in Uptown Station, all Okaloosa County Teachers Federal Credit Union and Step One Automotive locations.
July 30th: Edge Elementary School, Choctawhatchee High School, and Southside Primary School
