THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA announces that the second meeting of the parent/teacher committee to develop the school calendars for the 2021-2022 school year and the 2022-2023 school year, tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at the Central Administration Complex at 202 Highway 85 North, Niceville, in the Training Room, at 4:00 p.m., has been cancelled.

PUBLIC NOTICE - December 18, 2020

THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA announces that a parent/teacher committee will hold public meetings on the development of the school calendars for the 2021-2022 school year and the 2022-2023 school year. These meetings will be conducted at the Central Administration Complex at 202 Highway 85 North, Niceville, in the Training Room, on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., and Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. The January 20, 2021 date is scheduled to continue the development of the proposed school calendars if the proposed school calendars are not yet completed. This second meeting date may be cancelled if the proposed school calendars for the 2021-2022 school year and the 2022-2023 school year have been completed for recommendation to the Superintendent and the School Board.

These meetings are open to the press and public. A separate seating area will be set aside for the press and public who are in attendance at these meetings in accordance with the recommendations and guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) to protect the health and safety of the public.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disability Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in these meetings is asked to advise the School Board at least 48 hours before the meeting by contacting the Superintendent of Schools at the School District Central Administration Complex, at 850.689.7185.
