NHS Students Attend Adobe Certified Associate World Championship

The Adobe Certified Associate World Championship presented by Certiport, Inc. is a global competition that tests students’ design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Top students are invited to represent their respective countries at the World Championship where they will create a designated design project for Certiport’s chosen nonprofit client.

Jill Frakes, Digital Design Instructor at Niceville High School, shares this competition with her students each year and encourages them to enter. Two of her students who entered this year's competition were invited to the championship held in Orlando, Florida, June 17 - 19, 2019.

Taylor Ford and Anna Dietzius attended the 3-day competition. They were given the opportunity to create marketing materials for a prosthetic company to promote a video game they use to train kids on their prosthetics. Each student was also given a Wacom drawing tablet for attending the competition.

Both students enjoyed showcasing their talents on a real-world project and look forward to entering the 2020 competition.
