April is Month of the Military Child
“Purple Up” - Wednesday, April 10th.
Purple highlights all branches of service. Honoring our Military Children for the sacrifices they make each and every day living the military lifestyle.
Month Of the Military Child was first established in 1986 by Defense Secretary Casper Weinberger.
There are currently 1.2 million children of active duty members. 2 million military children have experienced a parent’s deployment since 9/11.
If you would like to make a positive difference in a child’s life, please contact Team Eglin’s School Liaison Officer ELAINE LAJEUNESSE, firstname.lastname@example.org or 850-882-4319.
