Marcus Chambers, Superintendent of Schools, recognized students for their hard work, “I think it's something that is truly phenomenal. Bruner Middle School does a great job with their Beta program.”
The State Beta Club Quiz Bowl consists of individually written exams that the students have to complete first. The subjects covered include Science, ELA, Math, History, Music, Movies, Faith, and Art. The competition takes the fourth highest team scores from the written exam into the quarterfinals. Bruner, having the second-highest score, went on to answer every question without fail which landed them into finals where they had the quickest and most accurate responses. Bruner competed against Emerald Coast Middle School, who only had the chance to answer one question, in the finals.
