Anna Keim, Ruckel MS, Art in the Capital

Anna Keim, an 8th-grade student at Ruckel Middle School, is the Okaloosa County School District’s winning entry into the Art in the Capital art contest.  Keim’s entry will travel to the spring legislative session with Representative Mel Ponder where it will hang in Art in the Capitol exhibit in the Capitol Building throughout the session. 

The Art in the Capitol Competition, section 1003.49965, Florida Statutes, is a statewide visual arts competition that requires each school district to annually hold an art competition for all students in grades 6 through 8 attending public schools, private schools and home schools in Florida.
