Laurel Hill Students Participate in Mad Scientist Day
Laurel Hill students in grades KG -5 recently participated in Mad Scientist Day. All students were invited to dress up as a Mad Scientist along with rotating for a Mad Science Experiment in each classroom!
The young scientists observed both chemical and physical reactions when combining baking soda and two types of vinegar (along with soda geysers). They also collected data on the color changing lipids of Magic Milk, the height of their STEM Candy Corn Towers and also learned that the make-up of molecules, either loosely or tightly packed, can affect the density of different liquids!
“What a great fun-filled day of learning at Laurel Hill School,” said Laurel Hill Teacher, Chana Brooks.
