Hurricane Michael Toy Drive

Check back often as more pictures will be added to the photo gallery as they become available.

We all have been moved by the devastation from Hurricane Michael, and the impact that it has had on the communities and families that are all too close to our own. As a school district, we reached out to offer our assistance to the schools and children of these affected school districts. The response was for items to help their children stay occupied with positive activities.

We asked for each family to donate a toy, board or card games, books, comics, coloring books, crayons, art supplies. All donations will be delivered directly to the shelters in Bay County on Wednesday.

“The character of Okaloosa County Schools is not just defined by our commitment in the classroom, but also by the conviction of our compassion for others,” said Mary Beth Jackson, Superintendent of Schools. “Thank you for helping those in need and for continuing to show that Okaloosa Cares.”
