THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA announces that a parent/teacher committee will hold public meetings on the development of the student calendars for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school years.

These meetings will be conducted at the Central Administration Complex at 202-B Hwy. 85 North, Niceville, in the Dining Room, on:

  • Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at 4:00 p.m., and
  • Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at 4:00 p.m.

The January 25, 2017 date is scheduled to continue the development of the proposed student calendars if proposed student calendars are not yet completed. This second meeting date may be cancelled if proposed student calendars for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school years have been completed for recommendation to the School Board.

These meetings may be attended by the members of the Okaloosa County School Board and are open to the press and public.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disability Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in these meetings is asked to advise the School Board at least 48 hours before the meeting by contacting the Superintendent of School at the School Board Administration Building at (850) 833-3110.
