Biography:
 
Mrs. Wilson has a BS in Social Sciences from The Florida State University. She started teaching in 2008 in Tampa, FL with Hillsborough County Schools, one of the largest school districts in the US. Mrs. Wilson spent six years at Orange Grove Middle Magnet School of the Arts in Tampa. The school was a middle school with an arts integrated approach to learning. There, Mrs. Wilson taught 7th and 8th grade science in all levels from ESE to Advanced, as well at the Physical Science course for high school credit. While at Orange Grove, Mrs. Wilson was the after school program coordinator, girls' basketball coach and girls' soccer coach, taking her girls' basketball and soccer teams from consistent no-win seasons to district playoffs. This is Mrs. Wilson's second year with Okaloosa County Schools and the STEMM Academy. 

Mrs. Wilson is married and her husband is a product of Okaloosa County Schools and is currently serving as the band director at Lewis School. Together they have one fur-baby, Riley, their 9 year old Jack Russell Terrier. Mrs. Wilson is very much involved in music as well. Mrs. Wilson was a member of her school band from 6th grade through high school graduation. Mrs. Wilson was also a 5 year member of the Marching Chiefs at FSU as well as various other concert bands at FSU. In the summer, Mrs. Wilson works with the Niceville High School Eagle Pride. 

In her free time, Mrs. Wilson enjoys traveling. She and her husband are avid cruisers, having visited Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Mexico, Honduras, and Belize multiple times.
