For this school year, Ms. Palmer will be teaching 6th Grade Language Arts and the Creative Writing class.

Mrs. Palmer has a BA in English with minors in Philosophy and Education  from Belmont University in Nashville, TN.


Mrs. Palmer has taught for 13 years.   She is certified to teach K-5 and 6-12 English with Gifted, ESOL, and Reading Endorsements.  Her secondary experience includes three years in middle school, with elementary experience in fourth grade and post-secondary experience teaching English Prep at Northwest Florida College. Recently, Mrs. Palmer was named as one of the High Impact Teachers in the State of Florida.

 She loves writing, books, movies, and travel.  Teaching students the love of reading and writing is her passion. She has been married for 11 years  and has a step-daughter and two cats. ​
