Introducing Mr. Chris Gee

For the 2016-2017 school year, Mr. Gee will be teaching 8th Grade U.S. History, 8th Grade Pre-Algebra, and Digital Art and Design

In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Gee serves as the Academy’s Yearbook advisor.

 

 

Biography:

Mr. Gee has a BFA in Graphic Design from the University on North Florida
 
He started teaching in 2006. He taught at Kirby-Smith Middle school, an accredited STEM magnet school in Jacksonville, Fl for 7 years before coming to the Okaloosa STEMM Academy.He has taught:  Math 2, Algebra 1 Honors, Digital Imaging and Design, Research, US History Honors, 3D Design, and Principles of Engineering and Civil Engineering.
 
In the past, he has coached boys’ soccer, girls’ volleyball, and the swim and diving team (District Division Champ 5 years)
 
Mr. Gee’s hobbies include:  Fishing, Surfing, Kayaking, Motorcycles, Archery, Backpacking, Scuba diving, Mountain biking, Acrylic painting, Woodworking, and Sculpture.
