2013-2014 SPAR Report released by the DOE
The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) requires that school districts provide parents with an annual school status report, known as the School Public Accountability Reports (SPARs). To assist Florida school districts in preparing SPARs for their stakeholders, the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) has posted these reports containing data for the required indicators as well as the Annual Measurable Objectives (AMO) on the Web at http://www.doeweb-prd.doe.state.fl.us/eds/nclbspar/index.cfm

Silver Sands Students reach our goal of $200 to raise money for awareness for ALS.
In doing so we were able to Dump Ice water on Mr. Laberee, Deputy Loafman, and Principal Lambert.

What is ALS?
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that causes muscle weakness, paralysis, and ultimately, respiratory failure. We are now part of the greatest chapter in ALS History. Thanks to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (#ALSicebucketchallenge), more people are learning about this horrific disease and its effects.
