Pre-Kindergarten Disability

The Pre-Kindergarten Disability classroom provides educational services for children ages three through five who have been identified as having learning challenges.  The learning challenge might be in one or more of the following domains:  personal/social, adaptive, communication, motor, or cognitive.  These students attend a  five-hour per day program to strengthen their skills and to prepare them for kindergarten.

The Pre-Kindergarten Disability classroom incorporates The Creative Curriculum, The 100 Book Challenge, Learn to Move and Move to Learn, Touch Math, and Handwriting Without Tears to provide a comprehensive program striving to meet the needs of each student enrolled.  Students receive physical, occupational, and speech/language therapy if it is indicated on their Individual Educational Program.
