The Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI), serves as an umbrella for the Smithsonian's global effort to conserve species and train future generations of conservationists.    The eMammal project works with citizen scientists and camera traps to conduct large-scale mammal surveys coordinated by the Smithsonian Institution and the NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
