Congratulations to this year's Teacher of the Year,
Deputy Ike Kenty
Northwood Elementary School (NES) Junior Deputy Leadership Posse
This is a school volunteer program designed for our 4th and 5th grade students, but will benefit all grade levels through the Junior Deputy’s good efforts. In brief the Junior Deputies will receive coaching and opportunities to help them become young role models. The importance and value of respecting rules, showing kindness and respect to everyone and putting forth their very best efforts in all they do are reinforced. With the support of their parents, the child will shoulder responsibilities that will strengthen their character and develop leadership skills through daily behavior expectations and service to their school.
