Progress Reports

Interim Progress Reports for the 4th nine week grading period will be distributed to students during advisory on Friday, April 21st.  Be sure to review and discuss grades with your student to help them reach their academic goals as they finish the 2016 - 2017 school year. 


Earbuds required for FSA Reading testing starting on 4/19.

All students need to bring earbuds for the listening portion of the FSA ELA Reading tests. 

Reading testing dates:

Grade 6: April 19th and 20th

Grade 7: April 24th and 25th

Grade 8: April 26th and 27th


Summer STEM opportunities:

STEM Camps for Summer are available.  Various sites around the county are available.  Seating is limited.  Refer to the informational flier for information. 


Beta Club Service Project

Band information for summer and the upcoming 2017 - 2018 school year

Interesting in playing and instrument or joining the Wildcat Band? Beginning Band sign ups are April 11th and 13th in the band room for any student who will be in the 4th - 8th grade next school year.  Come anytime between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to find and instrument that fits you best.  Select the Fine Arts button to the right to access the Band webpage for detailed documents and information.


 

 

Controlled Open Enrollment Open for the 2017 - 2018 School Year. 

The window for Open Enrollment has reopened.

Students who currently have an attendance waiver and plan to return to Meigs Middle School next year do not need to complete an application.  These students are automatically approved to attend the same school for 2017-18.

 

Summer Enrichment for Reading

The University of West Florida's Continuing Education Department is offering Reading programs in the areas of Reading Skills and Speed Reading. Spaces are limited.  For registration information, please refer to the phone number listed on the flyer.

2018 Washington D.C. Trip

Parents of current 6th and 7th grade students, information was presented in Social Studies classes about our 2018 Washington, DC, trip.  The early registration deadline is May 26th.  Registration by this deadline comes with a $100 savings off the total trip cost.  If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Dodd.
