Guidelines for the Media Center 
 
 
Students may come to the media center before school, during the school day with a pass, during the school day with a class, or after school. 
 
All items removed from the media center should be checked-out at the circulation desk.  Items should be returned by the due date.  Books are checked-out for a two-week period, and may be renewed if not on reserve.  Fines are not charged. Students are encouraged to act responsibly and return books on time. 
 
K-4 Students may check out up to two items at a time. 5th-8th grade students may check out up to four items at a time. Students are required to take responsibility for the materials that they have checked-out. 
 
Reference books may be checked out overnight.  These materials must be returned on the next school day before school.
 
Students will be charged for items lost or excessively damaged.  Students who are withdrawing must clear all debts before records can be forwarded to the next school and/or report card issued. 
 
The Media Center has 15 computers available for student use. Students may print school work from the computers at no charge.
