Yearbook Information

Yearbook Arrival and Distribution:

We will be distributing the 2018-2019 yearbooks all day on Monday, May 20, in the Yearbook Room, Room 316. You must have your student ID, and your receipt is preferred. You will sign for your yearbook when you pick it up. May 20th will be for students who have already purchased a yearbook.

On Tuesday, May 21, the Yearbook staff will be available (also in the Yearbook room) to sell any leftover copies. If you plan to buy one after they are delivered -- if any are leftover -- bring cash or a check for $95.

If any yearbooks are left after May 20-21, we will sell them from the yearbook room until the end of the school year or until they are gone. There will also be a table at the Senior Awards Night on May 21st and the Senior Breakfast on May 29th for last minute yearbook purchases, again, pending availability of the supply.

Very important Note: We will not be writing late passes to class on May 20-21. Students should come between classes or with passes from teachers who will allow them to come when appropriate from their classes or during a study hall. We will be available during first and second lunches, as well. We will open the door of the Yearbook Room (316) to begin selling yearbooks at 8:00 A.M. that day, to allow time for the yearbook staff to prepare and will stay open until 2:30 P.M.

Summer Senior Portraits:

Current Juniors -- Class of 2020 -- dates for summer senior portraits will be June 12-13 and July 8-9. Prestige Portraits, a branch of Lifetouch Photography, will be at FWBHS in the Auditorium from 8:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. on those dates by appointment only.

Juniors (Class of 2020) will be receiving a post card before the end of the school year, mailed to your home address, with a pre-assigned appointment date and time for your senior portraits. If you do not want to come on that day, at that time, or will be out of town with your family, please call the customer service number provided on the card to reschedule the appointment. Please watch for your postcard, and do not throw it away as junk mail. (They have not been mailed yet.)

Please make sure your current address is on file with Okaloosa County Schools and Fort Walton Beach High School. Postcards as well as the proofs from your portrait session will be mailed to that address.

There will be a senior portrait makeup day just after school starts in August for anyone who was unable to come in the summer.
