Sra. Anna Godoy

This year I will be teaching Spanish 4 Honors, AP Spanish, IB Spanish 3 and IB Spanish 4 at Choctawhatchee High School.

I graduated from Choctaw in 2001, and continued my studies at Wesleyan College. There, I majored in International Business and Spanish, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. While at Wesleyan, I completed a study abroad program in London, England.

After graduating from Wesleyan, I headed to Madrid, Spain for my Master's degree. I studied at Saint Louis University in Madrid and completed an M.A. in Spanish Language and Literature in 2008. I continued to live in Spain after graduation. I worked as an English teacher at Colegio Valdefuentes, and then as an Academic Advisor at Saint Louis University.

I returned to the United States in 2012 and started working at Niceville High School and transferred to Choctaw in August of 2013. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach in the International Baccalaureate Programme.

Please feel free to email me with any questions at

I am also the Senior Class Sponsor, and I really would love to have any and all senirs involved with class activities. Information about when and where we meet is announced through the school announcements, as well as on our class bulletin board in the main hallway.

I'm looking forward to a great year!
