Welcome to my website!  I am in the Social Studies department, teaching United States and AP United States History. In addition to the state and College Board benchmarks for each subject, I aim for my students to think critically about how humans think and operate.  Through studying ourselves throughout history, students will be able to analyze the actions of others with compassion and impartiality.  I'm so excited to have the opportunity to work with and inspire the young adults at Choctawhatchee High School!

I'm originally from Michigan, and moved to Okaloosa County in 2011. I graduated from Trine University (Angola, IN) in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education. I'm a huge fan of all Chicago sports teams (except the White Sox), I love music, and my favorite TV show of all time is Arrested Development. I'm also a history nerd (go figure).
