Build a City Class is Making a Difference

County Track Champions 2012

The Boys Track Team picture with Coach Vinson and Coach Betts-Jones won the County Track Championship held at Etheredge Stadium in May. The team won the meet with a total of 121 points with the second place team earning 68 points. Congrats to the coaches, Spartans, and Parents on this great accomplishment.

 

Bruner Competes in Tech Bowl and meet Governor Rick Scott

Bruner Middle School participated in the Tech Bowl this past weekend and it was held at the Niceville Community Center. The Spartans ended up placing 5th out of 11 teams, but the coolest part was that the Governor came over and talked to them and took a picture! The students enjoyed his company and were really impressed by all of the security detail for the Governor! Digital Day Logo Winner

Rachel Metruck was recognized by Dolores Noechel as the Okaloosa County Digital Learning Day Logo Winner. Rachael, who was recognized as the county winner, is in Mrs. Henderson first period Instructional Technology class at Bruner. Congrats to Rachel and Mrs. Henderson on this fine award. State Science Fair

Three Bruner Spartans traveled to Lakeland Florida fo rthe state science fair.The Florida State Science and Engineering Fair is the largest academic event in the state,” said Shawnea Tallman, Science Curriculum Specialist. “These students presented their projects along with 950 other finalists from across the state.
