PUBLIC NOTICE

            THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA announces that a parent/teacher committee will hold three public meetings to receive input on the development of the student calendar for the 2010-2011 school year.  The meetings will be held on the following dates at the times and locations indicated below:

·         Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at 4:30 P.M. in the Dining Room of the Nutrition Center at 202-B Hwy. 85 North, Niceville

·         Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at 6:00 P.M. in the Board Room of the School Board Administration Building at 120 Lowery Place SE, Fort Walton Beach

·         Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at 5:00 P.M. in the Media Center of Antioch Elementary School at 4700 Whitehurst Lane, Crestview

            These meetings may be attended by the members of the Okaloosa County School Board and are open to the press and public.

            Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disability Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in this meeting is asked to advise the School Board at least 48 hours before the meeting by contacting the Superintendent of Schools at the School Board Administration Building at (850) 833-3110.
