The only way to apply for transfer positions is on-line, through the OASIS system (Okaloosa Application Services and Inquiry System).
In compliance with Article IX, B of the Master Contract between Okaloosa County School Board and OCEA, the following position(s) is/are available for transfer. (See below.)If you are a current employee and wish to transfer to this position, please complete the online transfer form on the link below. This form must be in the office of the appropriate contact person by the deadline posted for transfers only. Only current employees who hold regularly established positions in the Okaloosa County Public Schools are eligible for transfers. (Substitute employees are not eligible.) If the position is not filled by a transfer, new hire applicants will be considered.

Currrent Instructional employees cannot transfer into Educational Support positions.
Instructional employees wishing to be considered for an Educational Support position must fill out an online application and fulfill all the requirements of a new-hire Educational Support applicant.

Educational Support employees wishing to be considered for an Instructional position must fill out an online application and fulfill all the requirements of a new-hire Instructional applicant.
1. Click on the position you are interested in and a job description page will appear.
2. Click on the "Apply for this Job" link at the top of the job description. The OASIS Log-In page will appear.
- If you have an account, you will log in with your user ID and password.
- If you do not have an account, you will need to read and follow the directions to set up an account. (Once you have created an account, you will have to submit your application for verification.)
3. A pop-up box will appear, advising you to notify your principal/supervisor when you are seeking a transfer. This is not an absolute requirement.
4. The Current Job Openings page will appear and you will see a “Yes” in the applied column of the job you are interested in.
